Privacy Policy
WiggleScroll is operated by Cameron James Casperson. WiggleScroll does not require an account, show ads, sell personal information, or track you across other companies' apps and websites. Most app data and all camera processing stay on your device.
Information Processed On Your Device
WiggleScroll uses Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Managed Settings UI, and Device Activity APIs so you can choose apps, app categories, and web domains to protect. Your selections stay on your device and are shared only between WiggleScroll and its app extensions through local app-group storage. WiggleScroll cannot see the content you view inside those apps or websites.
Local settings include your protection mode, daily window, unlock duration, pause state, recent wiggle result, and progress totals. These values are used only to provide the features you choose.
Camera Use
The front camera is used only while you run the wiggle challenge. Camera frames are analyzed live on your device to estimate body movement. WiggleScroll does not save, upload, or share photos, video, camera frames, or body-pose observations. You can revoke camera access in iPhone Settings.
Subscriptions And Purchase Information
Apple processes purchases and payments. WiggleScroll uses RevenueCat to determine whether WiggleScroll+ timed-unlock access is active. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information such as product identifiers, purchase status, and expiration date. WiggleScroll does not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat does not receive protected-app selections or camera frames from WiggleScroll. Review RevenueCat's privacy policy for more information.
Feedback And Diagnostics
The app keeps a small on-device log of recent handled-error codes, timestamps, and technical categories for up to 14 days, with a maximum of 40 entries. It does not include camera frames, protected-app selections, receipts, or the content of your feedback. These diagnostics stay on your device unless you choose to include them in a feedback report. Before sending, the app presents the report in an in-app Mail composer or the iOS share sheet so you can review it.
A report can include text you write, app version, build number, iOS version, general device type, and the recent technical codes you elect to share. If you send it by email, the report also includes the sender address supplied by your email provider and is therefore linked to you. Email and other sharing providers process the report according to their own policies.
WiggleScroll uses Sentry for automatic crash, app-hang, watchdog-termination, and privacy-minimized handled-error reports so problems can be detected without waiting for a support email. These reports can include app and build version, operating-system and device details, a technical error category and code, basic performance context, and crash context supplied by iOS. WiggleScroll does not intentionally attach your name, email address, feedback text, camera frames, protected-app selections, receipts, screenshots, or view hierarchy. Default personal-information collection, all breadcrumbs, session tracking, failed-request capture, and performance tracing are disabled. This information is used only to diagnose reliability problems and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Review Sentry's privacy policy for more information. Apple may separately provide crash and performance information under your Apple privacy and analytics settings.
Retention, Controls, And Deletion
- Local settings remain until you change them, reset them, or delete WiggleScroll.
- Local handled-error diagnostics automatically expire after 14 days and are also removed when the app is deleted.
- You can revoke Camera and Screen Time access in iPhone Settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry, and a provider you use to send feedback retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.
To ask about or request deletion of information you sent directly to support, email cameron@caspersons.com. Include enough context to identify the correspondence, but do not send passwords or payment details.
Security
WiggleScroll limits collection and uses Apple's platform protections and encrypted network connections used by Apple, RevenueCat, and Sentry. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
WiggleScroll is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child sent personal information through support.
Changes
This policy may be updated as WiggleScroll changes. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
